The vibrancy of the souks during the day and night are breath-taking (literally, particularly if you are not squeamish), the tiny narrow streets with huge wooden doors leading to an oasis of calm and feasts of Moroccan and international cuisine enjoyed to the rhythm of the local music and belly dancers. Always (five times a day) in the background is the call to prayer from the Djemaa el-Fna reminding us of this holy place. This really has everything you could want – glamour and sophistication, history and tradition; not forgetting shopping – plenty of shopping! A perfect place for any event.
